Description

Built 1959 in Canada, this fully classed Canadian Ice Breaker has had refits in 1979, 1987 and last major refit/overhaul was in 2011. DNV A1 (Arctic Class 1). Last SS and DD was May 2015. 67.06m x 15m x 6m draft. GRT/NRT 2152/613. 4 x More-Fairbanks with total 5123hp, twin diesel-electric propulsion - 2 fixed blade Superston 70 props. Caterpillar x 3 gensets plus emergency.

Auxil is Caterpillar 3512 D1 Bubbler - new fuelling system - very few vessels have this Bubbler System. 11/14.5 knots. Cargo capacity is 900cbm. Deck gear includes cranes x 3. Full safety gear - SOLAS APPROVED. Fire fighting gear including alarm system. Pollution equipment. Containerized incinerator. Ice management software.
